What happens when the 7 days end?
Your card is charged for the plan you chose, on day 8. Cancel before then, from Settings, and you pay nothing at all.
The trial is for your first plan only. If you cancel and come back later, you start paid.
Do I need a card to start?
Not for Free. Sign in and capture your first moment, no card anywhere.
The 7-day trial does ask for one, so nothing interrupts you on day 8 if you stay. Nothing is charged before then.
Why does Litani cost money at all?
Every capture, rehearsal and podcast runs real speech recognition, a language model and generated audio behind the scenes, and each one costs us money when you practise.
One honest price covers it. Pro is $20 a month, or $180 a year, which is less than one tutor lesson a month.
Can I move from Pro to Max later?
Yes, from Settings, in about a minute. It applies the same day and you only pay the difference for the rest of the billing period.
If you’re still in your trial, the trial simply carries on, on Max.
What if I go from Max back to Pro?
Nothing is deleted. You choose which one language stays active, and the others wait exactly as you left them, memory included, until you come back to Max.
Which languages can I learn?
Ten: Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Dutch, Japanese, Korean and Mandarin.
Pro is one of them. Max is up to 3 at once.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Litani runs on Mac, iPhone and the web, on one account, with everything in sync. Capture on your phone at the counter, rehearse on your Mac that evening.
